Description

Beach lovers often skip Puerto Princesa in favor of El Nido and Coron, its more famous island destination neighbors.

Apart from the underground river experience, Puerto Princesa’s Honda Bay is blessed with white sand beaches and small islands rich in marine life, and you can visit the top attractions all in just one day with Honda Bay island-hopping adventures.

You will be visiting Cowrie Island, Luli Island, and Starfish Island, which are all great spots for swimming and snorkeling in island-hopping tours.

Cowrie Island is a popular stopover for buffet lunch served by the boatmen or tour guides. It has cabanas with a massage area overlooking a picturesque view of the ocean. You can even order beer or cocktail drinks at the bar while you soak up the sun.

Luli Island is a sandbar, and only appears during low tide. It's bordered by mangroves, features a lagoon where you can swim in, and a diving board where you can jump off into its turquoise waters. Meanwhile, Starfish Island is famous for having a significant population of different varieties of starfish.

Day 2SIC HONDA BAY ISLAND HOPPING TOUR (B/L)

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Pick up from the hotel and proceed to the Underground River Tour.

• Named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there are few places in the Philippines that are as unforgettable and iconic as the natural wonders that can be found in the Underground River near Puerto Princesa city. A day tour to this breathtaking location will take you through what is now named as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. After an early morning pick up, you'll drive to Sabang Wharf before transfering by boat to the Underground River National Park. This location is not merely the access to the river: it's also a national park that is a haven for local and some endemic wildlife in the Philippines, and famous as a birdwatching site. The highlight of the tour remains as the guided paddle boat which will take you across the underground river. For around 45 minutes, you'll be able to explore this deep, cavernous river, and see the rock formations that have captured the imagination of the world. Listen to your audio commentary or get insider knowledge from your boatman guide as he points out numerous fascinating features within the cave by torchlight. From stalagmites and stalactites shaped as vegetables, dinosaurs, Jesus and more, to the thousands of swallows and bats that swoop about the tunnels, you're sure to be in awe throughout the trip. Terms & Conditions:

Rates are quoted in Philippine Peso on a per person basis.

This package is applicable for a minimum of two (02) adults traveling together.

Rates are not applicable during high, peak, or super peak periods.

All bookings are subject to advance reservation. Confirmation of room(s) is strictly subject to the hotel's availability at the point of booking made only and all rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Hotel Standard Check-in time is 1500 hrs. Standard check-out time is 1100 hrs to 1200 hrs.

Early check-in is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, the previous night must be booked and paid.

Rates are based on the lowest room category of the hotel. In case the lowest room category is no longer available, the next available room category shall be offered and the price difference shall be charged.

All special service requests are subject to availability and/or additional charges upon check-in.

All transfers and/or tours are on a seat in coach basis.

Only one (01) baggage is allowed per person. In case of more luggage and transport is not enough to accommodate guests and requests for another transfer to accommodate, an additional charge for transfer will be billed directly to the passenger who exceeded their allowed baggage.

The package is applicable to local residents only. All foreign passport holders will incur a surcharge which depends on their nationality (TBA by the hotel). Failure to advise/inform us upon finalization of the booking will be automatically charged to the account of the agent.

All flight details of the passengers must be submitted once the booking is guaranteed.

We will no longer consider on-day/last-minute flight details notice. Guests will be advised to transfer on their own arrangement.

No Show on booked dates will render services forfeited. Strictly no cancellation and modification upon confirmation of booking. No refund will be extended for no-shows, offloaded guests, or any unused services.

Any reinstatement of the booking will be subject to availability and/or additional charges.

Please remind the guests that they should be in the lobby at least 15 minutes prior to their estimated pick-up time for their departure airport transfer. We will not be held liable if they fail to catch the seat in the coach arrangement resulting in an unnecessary incident.

In case of Force Majeure (Eg. Emergencies, Accident, Storm, Rally, Typhoon, etc.) Which are beyond our control, VIA Philippines will not be liable for any surcharges/penalties imposed by the hotel/ resort and other suppliers.
