228 Peace Memorial Park - The 228 Peace Memorial Park is a historic site and municipal park located at 3 Ketagalan Boulevard, Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The park contains memorials to victims of the February 28 Incident of 1947, including the 228 Memorial Monument that stands at the center of the park and the Taipei 228 Memorial Museum, housed at the site of a former radio station that operated under Japanese and Kuomintang rule. The National Taiwan Museum stands at the park's north entrance. The park also has a bandshell and exercise areas. - 20 minutes • Admission Ticket Free
Presidential Office Building (Pass By) - Originally built to serve as the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period, the Presidential Office Building is one of the most recognizable buildings in Taiwan. During World War II, the building sustained damage from Allied forces, and was restored after the war to serve as the office of the Governor-General of Taiwan province and military affairs office, and following the Chinese Civil War, the building began to serve as the Presidential Office Building of the Kuomintang leadership in Taipei.

Ximen Red House - Ximending Built in 1908 by the Japanese, this Western-style building and its surrounding square located at Ximending is home to Taipei's creative and culture industry, hosting exhibitions and performances daily. Originally, the complex with built to serve as the first government-operated public-run market, and now is classed and preserved as a municipal heritage site. The building features an octagonal entrance and cross-shaped floor plan where merchants could showcase their goods. Today the market has modernised to become a space for the creative and art industry, including an outdoor Market for Artists and Designers located within the North Square. - 20 minutes • Admission Ticket Free
